Yeah the original monitor doesn’t “die” you just have to recap it. They’re really hard to replace... that machine is in good condition too so removing the monitor really killed the price you can get for it.
Why were the controls disconnected and the wires removed?? Really a PITA to restore an otherwise nice looking game. Good luck

That’s rough. Understandable for your first game, we all make mistakes.
I have never seen one of these converted to LCD. It would probably look terrible...
