The real value is in the Williams games that won't be remade because they were not real popular. NGG is a great example. Not many made (I believe around 2700) and is really a lot of fun to play. $4,000 or so buys a extremely nice example. There are some Stern games that are actually quite fun like Monopoly. $3-4k buys pristine machines. This is what I really look to buy in the future. This $8-$10k new LE/CE stuff coming out isn't interesting me anymore.
Games like CC and BBB will be remade just because production was low. I don't like either game at any price and even if they were $8k new I wouldn't buy them.
I do have an AFMrLE and at $7500 it is an ok machine to have, but as was posted here there are a lot of games coming out that are better.
With all this said, this one is a darn nice example of an original and if you collect originals it certainly makes sense. I just bought a Pinball Pimp TZ restoration as I don't think it will be remade since 11,000 originals were produced. At $7800 I am at the top of what I want invested in one, but I would rather have $7800 in a perfect one that $6k in one that is ratty. Same goes for the one the OP is selling. Ratty AFMs still bring $5.5k+. Pay another grand or so and get a good one!
