Estimated value
$2680 - $3120
per Pinside.

#5 2 years ago

I think I just threw up in my mouth...... again.

Quoted from Collin:

Estimated value
$2680 - $3120
per Pinside.

I wonder if those machines were completely disassembled, cleaned, polished, cabinet stripped, painted, decaled, new lamp board fabricated, new legs installed, new driver board, wiring harness cleaned, full LED's, mylar removed from very nice pf, pf polished, rocket painted and decaled, wire forms candy painted and 2PAC'd, apron 2PAC'd, flippers rebuilt. Oh, and shopped....
I kind of doubt it.
This machine is aimed for someone who wants something more than a routed machine with a shop job. Apparently, that's not you, and that's fine. I don't see where it should concern you what I value my property and my work.

#7 2 years ago

What's wrong with the speaker panel? Or, what has you needing one?

#8 2 years ago

the problem is that this is not a very sought after game. You can polish a turd but its still a turd. I have a fish tales with new cab decals, redone cabinet, completely shopped, but its not worth twice because i did all that.

Add more pics. The three you have look nice, but you need more. You need to show why it's worth the price tag.

I will. The pf is still on the rotisserie, and am in process of finishing backbox pcs. Hoping to reunite pf with cabinet tomorrow.
As far as not being a sought after game, I don't care what machine it is, there are people who find it special, and want a nice example.
Hell, hep is doing a 4 million bc. I doubt that machine is on too many peoples top 10, but to someone, it is.

Can I buy it for $2,500 then.

I hear that.It should be about effort and quality not title once a certain level is acheived.
It takes just as much dedication and ability to restore a Popeye as it does Twilight Zone maybe more honestly since the more popular one gets served well by the parts market..

They are all built the same so pricing based on title popularity makes total sense when they are all in the same condition but once conditions are exceeded or below standards it becomes a situation where you have to look at it on a case by case basis.

Sometimes I think I would rather have say the only HEP W?D than the fiftieth restored MB
I know the MB will bring more money but which one is truly harder to come by in that condition.Doesn't matter why it is less popular it is about how rarely it is seen in that condition and what it takes to get it there.

After making a new light panel the stock speaker panel looked bad in comparison. The old MDF gets swollen and edges worn.So I made a new one. Much better.

GLWS. We all have our opinions.

#23 2 years ago

I don't know if you'll get the price your asking but, I do think it will sell far north of the typical machines being offered up.

That's a nice pin, you couldn't pay me to purchase and restore that pin for $3500! That's a bargain from what I can see, especially if one is looking for this title.

#32 2 years ago

I didn't know they had LED's in 1970 ??

Yeah, I don't keep track of my hours put in these, for that reason. But I am proud of the result.
