Those are just two examples, I have the worst luck when it comes to shipping anything no matter how hard I make it not to be. Playfields lost forever, games damaged..., you name it. Funny I never had a problem when it came to shipping backglasses though....but that doesn't mean I want to ship those either, back then I did what I had to do to make the sale but things are different now and shipping is just not going to happen again. I might meet someone half way depending on the distance and the circumstances so that is an option I guess.
This Alien Star needs a little TLC but nothing major, a shop job and a couple of switch adjustments, just typical stuff. Yes there is playfield wear but perhaps someday the new playfields will come out and it could be swapped or perhaps someone will like it the way it is? I'm on the list for one and that was back even before I ever owned this game, I just thought it'd be cool to hang it on the wall but if they come through with them and I have it and the game both at the same time I'll offer it with the game.
Sounds like everyone has a different story to tell when it comes to price and condition of there own game, sometimes that's just the way things go. If there is no real interest for a while I'm fine with that and it can sit around here until it does go but like I said, sooner or later they all sell either high priced or not. I've got the CBW and Time Machine for sale as well and no interest there either....., all three are wrapped up and on end sorta out of the way but not out of my way. Heck it's not like I haven't had the basement aisle's plugged up before......, just as need them cleaned out by the first Saturday in November is all...... Worst case is they get stored in the garage. NOTE: The picture below is not games I have for sale but rather how things can get a bit tight down here in a short amount of time.....LOL.
