Wow.

Wow what? There’s only 1 for sale on pinside market for $10k. Show us where you see others for sale cheaper right now? Good chance they’re going to continue to increase in price due to scarcity.

This should sell pretty fast.

GLWTS and congrats to the buyer.

Kinda surprised this isn’t already gone! 9k seems a steal for a machine with such a ... rich history and major scarcity. Plus it actually flips!!

It will get sold, but this game is probably not for everybody. I wouldn't like it in my collection as i would be constantly reminded of all the people loosing their money on this containerload of remnants of what was supposed to be delivered to prepaid customers. Also the fact that every game you play on it, may be the last because of non existant parts will not help sales.

how many games did you get in this final shipment that was rerouted from CoinTaker to you?

#9 3 months ago

They were 230v Australian labelled so not sure if they were cointaker or not
Only a couple of standards remaining, we had 24

thanks

Any idea what numbers these are? Would be nice to have a more accurate idea of how many were made in total (for posterity/history)

#11 3 months ago

Most were in the 80s
I don't think numbers help as I have seen as high as 400
Serial numbers seem to work better

#12 3 months ago

thanks. I was told around 120-140 were made, but would be nice to have a final tally verified form the company/employees

#13 3 months ago

Highest serial number I saw was 118

Probably 80 standards and 40 le if I had to guess

Probably another dozen engineering games

#14 3 months ago

Were any of the LEs #88?

#15 3 months ago

not that we had all in the 200s

221, 219, 263, 264, 265, 266, 267, 268, 226, 227,228,229

NIB Alien Bump!

Who's going to add this rare and great game to their collection?

There is a decent network of support for this game by fellow pinsiders.

#17 3 months ago

I'd bump this up as well. Wayne has been great to deal with. My LE is in the air and on the way.

A couple of people I know that have received theirs have been extremely happy.

It really is a great game to play and look at. My kids are a little intimidated by it (ages 12, 10 andbut they like it in our collection. Feels like it’s built like a tank. Yes, the tank can (and probably will) need work at some point down the line, but theres definitely a groundswell of support for this pin, so I’m optimistic that the aftermarket can support this pin when needed.

We get it. You own one. Maybe by "wow" he meant good price. No need to shill.

My Alien from Wayne arrived in perfect condition.

The game exceeded my expectations. Its built like a tank, sound and video are on another level and plays beautifully.

#23 3 months ago

Glad to hear we opened and inspected added extra packing and wood to hold head in place and double boxed, try to do the best we can to ensure safe arrival
