Player's condition 1977 Atari Airborne Avenger for sale. This machine is Steve Ritchie's (Black Knight, Terminator 2, new Star Wars) *first* pinball game design. The machine also has several unique features, including a digital display in the apron (rather than in the backbox / head like normal) and boasts a stout super widebody cabinet. Not only is this table a unique specimen of living pinball history, it also makes a powerful statement as a late-70's sci-fi collectible piece of art reminiscent of themes from James Bond mixed with Logan's Run or Westworld.

Condition: The playfield has some fading and wear, the backglass has some flaking around the edges and bit in the art, and the cabinet has some dings / chips. Some playfield inserts need to be reset in the playfield. Plastics are in decent shape, though a couple are chipped / warped. Overall, for its age, this is a solid player's machine. The apron displays work well. New rubbers and ball, cleaned and ready to play. See images, sold as is.
