Item description

I got this machine from a bar owner that said it suddenly quit working and his tech didn't do Data East machines. When I got it home, I turned it on and the Laser Kick (kicks the ball back when it goes down the left side at the bottom) solenoid immediately fired and stayed on. I immediately shut it down (yay, didn't burn it up!) and checked Q2 on the PPS board and it was bad, so I replaced Q2, which solved that issue, but the machine doesn't boot. Sound is scratchy. That's really about all I know about it, but I'm really not much of a pinball expert. I did fix video games for an arcade chain back in the eighties, but that's about it. As for the pin, it is in decent shape and complete, with a few plastics broken (notably Bullwinkle's arm behind the back glass) and a small tub of extra parts inside.

Just about the time I was ready to start working on it further, I ran into some health problems that will keep me off my feet for months, so it has to go. Now. Backglass is nice, with the typical ruboff on Bullwinkle's nose. Proceeds of the sale will go to pay for cardiologist's daughter's braces. I can store it indoors for up to 2 months for pickup, and can make arrangements to ship at your expense. This is your chance to pick up a reasonable machine at the bottom end of the price range.
