I suspect his/her "experienced pinball tech" was the person who gave him/her the price and if so can't fault him/her because retail shops (and self proclaimed experts) over charge stupid amounts of money when they sell. User is also new - again a reason to suspect where they got their asking price from (or eBay since most people think that's a blue book for everything).
The cabinet "appears" to have good bones (front not split out, cabinet separation, head chipped up etc), the play field appears to be very nice and not hammered to hell. A set of $300 RAD CALS would make this machine appear damn near perfect and would then command $7200+ all day long.
My advice to the seller (and I have zero skin in this game) - I spent over a year trying to find a TAF that wasn't grossly over priced (and someone that was willing to ship being the main issue). Because of the cabinets cosmetic appearance (well used) drop the price to $6900 and be open to offers. Take pictures of the ramp entrances (which are usually cracked to hell). If they're in need of replacement drop the price an additional $300.
