NOS TAF
The owner of the Addams Family Pinball machine had unpacked it and put it down to set up an exhibition.
the Addams Family Pinball was forgotten. Now the warehouse has been closed and the dealer I know bought it immediately Here are the data from the "gold piece":

The Addams Family pinball machine has never been used.
The flipper legs were never installed (that's why he stands on trestles with us).
There is still the small German test slip from the wholesaler on the device when it was sold in 1992.
The protective film on the side rails was never removed and is still on.
There are still pieces of sticky tape from the old tape on the cash door as well as on the flipper legs.
All boards, cabinet and even the topper have matching numbers (the same serial number).
Fortunately, the batteries were removed back then. Boards top. The Dot Matrix display has unfortunately failed over the years.
The machine is "new old stock" after approx. 30 years of storage there is of course a patina on metal parts so that they are dull matt.
In some places some rust can be seen, mostly on the right backbox. We just turned on the pinball machine. No balls were inserted into the pinball.

The Addams Family Pinball is of course for sale.

Pictures are available here in a post. You can of course also get more pictures. An appointment for a viewing can be arranged. we are shipping worldwide .

Funny ad, funny op. 1 post in 6 years...wow.

#3 2 years ago

A steal at this price! I don't expect this will last long in this wild market. Glws!

Wish I was farther!

It will take someone with deep pockets and a shallow brain to buy this machine. It doesn't mean that that someone isn't out there.

#6 2 years ago

Oh my, the flood gates are open.

#7 2 years ago

Rusty, corroded re-import, No Thanks!

#8 2 years ago

Worth every cent! Good luck OP, says no one ever!

Nice find, but its a shame it was ruined by storing it in a damp warehouse. The right head hinge is completely rusted which demonstrates how much humidity it was exposed to. Most of the mechs have pitting and oxidation from moisture. Its a great time capsule and a neat story, but its worth no more than 10k if I had to guess, and is going to take alot of work to restore. In this case, the car analogy fails....pins with original patina don't add much value.

#11 2 years ago

This listing is in pesos, right?

#12 2 years ago

$100k by Christmas.

#13 2 years ago

that is worth around 5500.

Better put it up for sale 6 years ago when the rust was still at some other places then in the pinball... or maybe just in the balls .....

#22 2 years ago

And since no one has asked, what are “flipper legs”? Are they so rare they are $50,000 to the value ?

#23 2 years ago

This post is so stupid. People are off the rails crazy at this point. Every new day brings more and more of these morons out of the wood work. I honestly had to do a double take on this one.

#24 2 years ago

I'd pay Ten Grand just for the Flipper Legs. Have you ever tried those on your machine? breathtaking how they operate.

Not time, post count should be used as the barometer. That would prevent both the newbies joining yesterday to post $20k JJPs and this nonsense.

Oh man... is there a reason why more of the underside of this playfield isn't being shown?
Screen Shot 2021-07-10 at 9.31.27 AM (resized).pngScreen Shot 2021-07-10 at 9.31.27 AM (resized).png

This is a fixer-upper. I think you could get away with 20k tbh. It only takes 1 person to want a NIB-like TAF to make the sale. The humidity has killed the mechanics and maybe the boards too.

Anyone remember that NIB JP that was stored in room controlled temperature? That was a gem. This? Not so much.

EDIT: Yeah I know it's not worth 20k, I'm just saying it only takes 1 person to disagree, ya ding dongs.

Quoted from jake35:

Maybe. I would be in at $4k. This thing is a rust bucket.

No way this is $20k. I might consider $7-8k if it were in the US. Every bracket will need to be replated, every light socket replaced.

I didn't say I'd pay $20k. I didn't say it was worth $20k.

But it only takes one person to over-value it and pay $20k. Is there one person out there who would? I think so.

For 20k you can buy a routed and send to HEP with money left over..

Noted - sorry for the wrong assumption. But I hope there isn’t one person out there that would waste $20k on this. Bottom line - it’s a neat piece, but it’s going to require a lot of work.

I love this place

Thanks, and np.

I think your estimation is dead on btw. 7-8k plus the time effort and money to replace every mech and every board, plus a host of other issues I'm sure. It'd be a super fun project and the payoff would be glorious, but you'd also find dozens of little issues that'll drive you nuts in the process. I'd love to see this game in full working order.

#39 2 years ago

Maybe it comes with 1000 hours of restoration work included?

#40 2 years ago

Need pics of the shooter lane

#41 2 years ago

Please turn game on. I would to see if it has a credit dot.

#42 2 years ago

...in before the lock

#43 2 years ago

it's not humidity. it looks like there was a water damage when it was in a box, only at the bottom
not normal for it to be so oxidized, this pinball machine must have an unfortunate history

Of course it will have a credit dot, at a minimum for time/date settings.

Well, since the DMD isn't working that certainly won't happen, lol

I suspect they turned it on and scrolled through dozens of error messages before deciding to break the DMD.
