Appears to be a nice machine. Shame the certificate is gone. They definitely built the playfields better on the gold editions, the mansion area held up 100x better on them. Shooter lane doesn't look that bad to me, nothing a little novus and a piece of mylar couldn't solve and protect.

Not sure what you mean, there has only been two Addams made. A regular edition in 1992, and Gold edition in 1994 of which only 1,000 were produced. There were quite a few differences in the two, along from the playfield being made from a different manufacturer and slight differences in the color (rug pattern is different, and greens are darker on gold PF), various gold accented PF items, trim, cabinet art, etc. Plaque and certificate were also issued with matching numbers on the gold edition. I have one close in number to the one for sale, and looked for over a year to find a domestic one like this. Only 900-1000 were made for the US, the rest were manufactured for export overseas.

That's a tough one, because it's not an item you can buy after the fact if it's missing. If it were the owners manual, they are expensive but they can at least be purchased, unlike the certificate.

When you pay 5 figures for a machine, some folks are funny about missing documentation. Some folks don't care about it though, so that person would be a buyer here. I do believe that if it had the cert it would be gone quick. There are buyers out there for it regardless. It's a popular machine, I'm thankful to own one.
