So just how does a TAFG end-up on a revenue route?
(I would have loved to be in the op's office the day someone said, "We don't have another Raven or Genesis to put out to make some money, so let's just send that Addams Family Gold out").

Back in the day this stuff was just capital equipment to the operators and they ran it! The operator I got it from way back actually had six out on location so I went around to inspect each on location and picked out the best one. All were pretty nice but this one stood out from the pack!

I did see a Gold still out on location in an arcade out in the Cleveland area last month & man was it ever hammered! I actually know that operator and my guess is he would want more for his game than I am asking for mine!

Hard to imagine routing a collector edition TAFG, i guess back then it didn't matter as long as it was making quarters. I own #0950 and it was also routed, the cabinet took a little beating but the playfield must have been tough it is super nice. OP thanks for telling us about the black light trick ! I had to check mine and sure enough it showed up.

I don’t think the uv ink was from the manufacturer. My sttng had this and I was informed it was from certain distributors back in the day. Something about tracking games in an area or something

I doubt any distributor had the tech to do that back in the day plus the number is under the coating but who know you could be right?

Oh crap, why does stuff like this come up when I don't have the cash on hand! Had a Gold years ago, would be nice to get one back again plus it would be an easy drive too! All I have left from when I had one is the original game manual! Very nice looking game, GLWS!

At an operators today whom I deal with locally and spotted an original gold manual so I am sure I could do a deal fir if the buyer of the game wanted that as those are tough to find.

When I bought mine new I am pretty sure it was the same price as any other pin so if an operator was looking for an Addams family to route probably didn't matter to them if it was a limited run or not. If the distributor had them to sell then they wanted to sell them.
