Game - for sale

For sale: AC/DC LTBR #143 HUO $8000

Added: 2017-10-24 17:56:35 UTC • Ended: November 4th, 2017
Condition: HUO - Documented (Home Used Only)

Price

$ 8,000 (OBO)

Open for offers

HUO in perfect condition. I honestly can't think of anything wrong with it.
The window is a bit cloudy but not as bad as some I've seen.

Manufactured May 17, 2012. No idea how many plays it has but it hasn't been played in months....hence the sale.

The only thing I added was the Matt Mckee topper.

Located in Farmington MN. Pick up is preferred but I can wrap and pallet for an additional $250 if the buyer makes the shipping arrangements.

Let me know if you have any questions or need anymore pics.

No scammers, please. (It's not like saying that will stop them, but I've always wanted to say that.)

Cheapest LTBR I've seen in 3 years

#3 6 years ago

Pics have been added. It's hard to remember that when my head's up my ass!!

#4 6 years ago

Nice game at a nice price!

#5 6 years ago

Was it 200 BIBLE’s and 200 LTBR’s?

#6 6 years ago

Bible 300. Ltbr 200

#7 6 years ago

Nice machine.

I am looking for an AC/DC machine and could use some help.

What is the difference between an AC/DC Premium, Luci, BIBLE, LBTR?

And is there any other ones I missed.
Also, which has most toys and Value.

Thanks!

#8 6 years ago

The only difference is graphics and side armour...other than that I believe its the exact same game with the exact same toys....

Info bump, the LE comes with everything listed in the bottom pic + the extra items mentioned in the top pic.

I’ve always thought this was the best art package, but BIB for some reason is more desired. Must be the “unique” cab art, but this one looks better.

Thanks, any idea what going rates are for these?

Reason I ask, is other HUO Sterns are dropping prices like crazy on Pinside lately and this one is at original MSRP price (obo). Not sure what a fair offer is.

#12 6 years ago

? I believe MSRP for ACDCLE was like $6000 or thereabouts. This is one of the cheaper LTBR versions I’ve seen in a while though I can’t predict pricing in the future. Make an offer you’re comfortable with and see how it goes. Can’t do much else.

Keep in mind this seller is a world renowned restorer. Stellar reputation. It's priced fairly.

There was a time, LTBR was worth around $10,000 and BIB was worth a grand or so more. I doubt you'll find another HUO of either of these for MSRP.

I've had a couple kick me in the nuts offers already. Sorry, but I don't need to sell it that badly.

Stern's site says $8499.00 M.S.R.P., having said that market price is all that matters and this ones already below.

I wouldn’t budge on your price at all, this game is a bargain compared to buying a new Vault! Not only do you get all the LE goodies but this game was made when Stern had decent QC (no splitting cabinets, peeling decals or ghosted playfields ect)

#19 6 years ago

I considered selling mine a few months back and could have gotten 9G immediately. It's a hard one to let go. Cant believe it's not sold. Vance

#20 6 years ago

F the cheap asses. Tell them to go buy a shitty Vault instead. Be sure to tell them you'll burn the game to the ground before selling it to them at X amount.

#21 6 years ago

This looks like a really good deal on an AC/DC LE. GLWTS.

#22 6 years ago

God do I wish I was i had the cash for something like this.

#23 6 years ago

Doesn't this old fart know you need a shooter lane pic?

#24 6 years ago

Good price. I'm tempted to pick it up then sell my decked out original premium.

Wrong. I was on the list for one when they were released but pulled out. I can dig out the pricing from an old e-mail, but trust me. It wasn’t close to $8499 back then. That’s today’s prices!!!

Just checked, it was $6800 so maybe MSRP is closer than I thought.

$6900 for either LE, from Trent back in the day. A little cheaper if you were repeat LE buyer from him.

"In Stock late March.

AC/DC LE Back in Black - $6,900 300 made

AC/DC LE Ready to Rock - $6,900 200 made

Discounts:

$200 off if you have bought an LE from me before

$100 off if you have bought any game from me before."

Solid price from one of the most respected guys in the hobby.

I can’t figure out is the pinball market softening (this is usually the hot selling time with Christmas coming)? Or are the new AC/DC Premiums for 6900 hurting these games?

I think it has more to due with the saturation of all the new games available (or soon to be available) that is driving secondary pricing down.

I agree with this.

Its only going to get worse folks, prices will continue going down, its over folks.

Seems stern pins in general are coming down to a normal level for a used pin. Still many people spending big money for nib pins and classic nice condition b/w pins.

I would completely agree, Chris, but I would also say the VE editions certainly have brought prices down on the original Stern games.

I like to think the original ACDC's don't have the playfield and cabinet issues the current Stern games seem to have. They certainly making them different now.

#49 6 years ago

I've had a ton of trade offers but only interested in cash.

(Not really. I've just always wanted to say that.)

#50 6 years ago

I'd never let my LTBR go for this. Man has gone batshit crazy. Anyone with a premium or vault should upgrade. Nothing to really think about at this price.
