Just seen an ac/dc LTBR ho for $8k on pinside.

#7 5 years ago

I did too and ya know what....... what the heck does that have to do with anything. I would not let my LTBR go for that and certainly not this BIBLe, GLWS

#8 5 years ago

Fair price for a great game and super limited run!

#9 5 years ago

Great game....I looked unsuccessfully for an ACDC Prem, BIB or LTBR for over 6 months....every since Stern released the Vault Premium there have been a bunch on the market. I do know a nice LTBR just sold for around $8K....I like this BIB a little better....plus it has the color dmd, which is a no brainer, and a great upgrade

#10 5 years ago

Man, that pin with the MikeD mod would be perfect!

Could be that people might ask themselves if it’s worth the $5200 dollars extra for a backglass and some decals.

Someone could buy this for $12K, or a NIB premium vault with identical gameplay and a NIB MET or Aero pro to go with it.

Exactly!

I am not debating whether the seller is great or the machine is great; just Stern re-releasing killing the market.

And that might be the reason that the seller is selling it. So he could downgrade slightly then throw another new Stern in his lineup (or for that matter nearly any 90's Williams pin)

I am sure the seller knows about the re-release and understands the implications to the collectibility of his machine.

#20 5 years ago

I don't think releasing the VE matters oin this one. They did nothing special with it and removed the drummer. It only effected Premiums really.

$12K for any BIBLE is still pretty high, it's got some decent mods though.

I had 2 Premiums nearly back to back and eventually went for a BIBLE. So I guess I'm the dumb ass for upgrading my stickers and translite

#21 5 years ago

There are still many collectors in this hobby and this is one of the must haves for collectors. It may be the best overall collector pinball out there. Not only is it a great game but its pretty limited and is one of the best art packages out there for the theme... with a real back glass!

Thank god the price police has arrived to crap on another for sale thread

.Designer Autograph Under Playfield Hard Coat

.Numbered Plaque (Back In Black-300)

Is it worth the extra money? To you obviously not! but to a collector who is looking for this version of the game, maybe. There were 300 BIB in the world (now there are 299 see Pinside 1 less BIB threaded) 1/2 of those games went over seas so that leaves approx 150 in the USA.. there could be 5000 or more Premiums & vaults out there, they are not rare and have always been much cheaper to buy than a BIB (and the vault edition didn’t change that). Obviously someone who Just wants to play the game could go buy a premium / vault or a pro, but the collector mindset is different and those people want what they want and can usually afford it. This BIBLE is the cheapest/only one on the planet for sale right now that I can find, so if you want a BIB you don’t have a lot of options at the moment. If this game is over priced it won’t sell, let the market decide. If you don’t like the price don’t buy it! but don’t shit on a decent pinsiders for sale thread! Any collector looking for a BIB knows the Vault and standard Premiums exist and if they wanted that model they would buy it.

I had heard 100 went to Australia, 100 to Europe and 100 in North America. So, less than 100 in USA (others in Canada).

Looking for BIBLE owners on this post - know of any - they might be able to quote all the things listed in their game!

#25 5 years ago

Everything concretehardt said is correct

#26 5 years ago

Yep, I take that from his listing all the differences that he owns one.

#27 5 years ago

I own one. Correct. Beauty game

and better quality, yes..

#31 5 years ago

I was the original owner of the one lost in Canada. Have to laugh at Stern quality, mine came out of the box with a repaired patch around the speaker. Miss it, & I think it's in the same demand as Tron LE. Those collectors who want to be in a select group over the mass pinball owners.

I have BIBLE 123, I certainly wouldn’t let it go. From a collectors standpoint it is one if not the best Stern LE to own. GLWTS I would say ther is a unubtanium premium with this game.

Obviously Tron LE is the best from a collectors standpoint because their is no Tron premium. AC/DC essentially has three LE's and a premium. Still, its more collectible than just about all the other LE's.

#35 5 years ago

I would have a AC/DC BIB as the #1 pin to own (regret selling mine). Doesn't matter how many different other models of AC/DC.

#36 5 years ago

I'd love to take this beauty off of your hands and add it to my collection! The price police can say whatever they want, this pin is stunning and one of the best!

#37 5 years ago

Tied up with too much other stuff.. otherwise would make a serious offer...
I should have taken this game when I had it on hold at pinballsandgames for only $7800...

What # BIBLE is this?

I've seen original HUO Premium's in my area selling for around $6000-6400, so you'd have to admit, that's one hell of a price to pay for decals and a backglass (and not saying it's not worth it to someone).

BIBLE's historically have sold for around this price. They don't come up often at all. I mean, hell, this listing is 10 months old and it's the last one that was posted for sale.

It was also a different market 10 months ago. Will current market conditions support a BIBLE sale at $12k? I don't know. But, what I do know is it's very odd to bump and troll a thread almost a year old.

#48 4 years ago

Theres a guy locally that has been trying to sell his on Craigslist for $14K for over a year.....who knows maybe he'll find someone to pay that price? After all it only takes one buyer...also have a friend who has 2 NIB sitting in his warehouse locally (retired distributor)

I would actually disagree with what you said... being that this listing is 10 months old and still active I would say they DON'T sell for this price.

I remember when they were selling in the $10,500 range though. Given the crazy #'s of this game out there, I'd guess they'd be more around $10K-ish now?

Either way, if you own one, you have a holy grail of a pin IMO.
