Machine is in great working order. Playfield is in amazing condition, back glass looks pretty good for a pin this old but has some flaking and discoloration. Game plays great.

The cabinet is from a Williams machine judging by the door and artwork; I assume a previous owner transported the guts of the original machine into this cab. Doesn't affect the gameplay.

Would prefer to trade machines rather than sell. Looking for a solid state of some kind.

That paint job is incorrect but looks fairly well done--authentic...weird. What do the sides look like?

Wrong cabinet altogether.

Quoted from EEE:

Yeah, looks like a Williams lower.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's a Williams cabinet; the coin door has the W logo on it. that being said, I'm not sure if it's an original Williams machine paint job or if someone tried their hand at a restoration. My gut says it's a Williams paint job as it looks like there's a few spots that were touched up.

It's a collectible title. It's got that going for it. As it sits though, I think $1400 is pretty ambitious. If one could source a proper lower cabinet it could be brought back to collector quality. You would have to get cheap enough where either someone is willing to live with it as a players game/oddity or put in the work to bring it up to par.

I'm having a heck of a time trying to put the proper value on it. I guess I took $1400 as a starting amount to negotiate from. By my estimation it needs around $600 worth of work (repro backglass $250, new plastics $125, gottlieb stencil $150, Gottlieb coin door ??, labor).

Pinside has it at $1700-2000 (assuming good condition) and I have seen them on eBay from $1800 - $3000. So is $1000 more reasonable? $1200? That's why I'd ideally like to trade for another pin; that's what the money would go to anyways

A lesser game would be worth a couple hundred in this condition. It's a desirable title so it's tough to guess. 61 Pinsiders have it on their wishlist. That should help.
