Game - for sale

For sale: 3 Coins (Williams, 1962)

Added: 2016-04-04 20:04:51 UTC • Ended: April 22nd, 2016
Condition: Used - shows wear but 100% working and clean

Price

$ 400

Listing my 3 Coins for sale. Game appears to be working fine (just went over it again this weekend to deal with some hiccups relating to the ball release).

Player's quality. You can see from the photos that there is wear on the playfield (near the top in particular). The shooter lane was damaged, and I patched it with some epoxy putty (see the close-up image for details).

Backglass has flaking and some fairly large patches missing (particularly near the top-left).

Not shown in the photos is I added an eye-hook screw beneath the ball release mechanism and a rubber band to pull that closed when the solenoid is no longer energized (looks like a torsion spring was to do that job originally). I took the photos before I put that fix in yesterday.

$400. Thanks for looking!

I've seen you list fairly eclectic support for a lot of EMs (at least so it seems to a simple lurker like me), so I'm not too surprised.

I was surprised how good the playfield was when I got it, besides the shooter lane of course (it was mostly just really dirty). If I remember correctly, the homeowner bought it from a neighbor, so it spent a lot of time sitting in some game rooms. But, the counter in the machine I believe reads over 57,000 plays.

Sadly, I just couldn't get into it. Probably too hard for me. It is my highest rated (whatever that means) EM on IPDB (my other two are a Skylab and a Score-board). But, I never play this one so it might as well move on to someone who will actually appreciate it!
