I played 3 coins when it was new in a local amusement park arcade in 1962. Compared to others games in the arcade (picnic, Williams reserve, kismet, freedom 7, big casino, and others), three coins always took my nickels and dimes much faster than the others. It was a pretty tough playing game to me.
