I've owned this for about 2 years, works fine, plays great (every last switch, light, and solenoid is working). My first pinball machine as an adult, and now I have 11 with GnR on order and need the room. I love KISS (my first concert as an 11-year old kid, no makeup!), and I didn't know I'd get the silver ball flu when I bought this. Really just purchased as a prop in a pool house. I just doesn't fit in anymore with the newer games I have or the gameplay style I like. For pinheads, this could be a good project pin, but it would be just fine for a recreational pin for anybody that isn't bothered by a little wear and tear, still looks fine in my collection and my kids love it more than I do, pretty simple gameplay. Also, made famous in the movie Role Models
There is visible wear on the playfield and cabinet (not terrible, but you can see in the pictures). Backbox probably has the most wear, and I pulled out the translite locking mechanism, it's really hard to get out (nothing to grab onto) with no lock!
Converted to all LED's.
Legs and armor look pretty new (not originals).
Chasing a booting issue, I just spent $400-500 replacing the rectifier board (which was not original), MPU (Alltek), and Solenoid Driver Board (Alltek), turned out to be a cable that was intermittent (circled in picture). The rectifier board it came with was junk, but I still have the original MPU and Solenoid boards which are included (and work fine). Lamp/LED driver board was new when I got it.
The translite looks very good and weighs about 20lbs (feels like), it's definitely real/thick glass.
Extras - Original Bally MPU and Solenoid Boards (both work, nothing burnt out), brand new score display, and a bag of connectors to make/fix a the cable into the P3 header on the solenoid board (doesn't need it now, but that was my next project, as the connector to the rectifier board is split, but works fine)
I'd prefer pickup only (so you see what you're getting), or if you arrange the shipping, that works fine (I can get it to the pickup point outside the garage). I can take Venmo or Paypal or Cash. If you have something on my wishlist that you're wanting to trade, maybe it could be a bigger deal (and I'd obviously +cash).
