I can’t believe all the hate for FF on here. I’m out on every currently available music pin because I’ve already heard every one of those songs 1,276,489,165 times and would get even more sick of them if I had to listen to them endlessly on a pin. Foo Fighters and U2 are the only two bands that have existed for 25-40 years and are still relevant. I understand why companies make “classic rock” pins; they know the demographic that listens to classic rock has the money to afford them. But my generation (1984) is also getting into pinball and they would be wise to cater some to our preferences too.

All that being said, I think the best modern band for pinball would be Muse.
Full disclosure though, both Foo Fighters and Muse are in my top 5 favorite all time bands.

This is called a formula for a radio hit. If you listened to their albums, you would see that most of their songs do not follow this formula; just the ones that are played on the radio. Because… Dave Grohl is a musical genius, but also a pragmatist. He makes the art he wants to make with his music, and throws 2-3 songs on each album that will sell the records.

Given that their last album, released 38 years after their first, was the 8th best selling album in the world that year… yeah, I would have to say they’re still relevant.
