Officially in the club!
Got it from Aaron at San Diego Amusements SDAmusements and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I could not recommend a distributor more.

Same here. The playfield on my pro looks fantastic.
Quoted from paul_8788:All I am saying is I don't like mods that change how the game plays, to each their own.
Interesting take. So do you keep all stock rubbers, shooter rods, balls, etc.?
Just wanted to give a shout out to GameRoom Mods for their fluorescent green plastic protectors for Foo.
I put the whole set on my Pro yesterday and it really makes the game pop! I don't know what they make these from, but they look like they are plugged in to something with the way they glow.
Really well made and packaged with excellent instructions and hardware included. Made the install super easy.
Absolutely loving them!
Quoted from Kkoss24:Congrats!!! Did you get Foobot?
Thanks! Yup, finished about 5 cities and started FB. It was complete chaos and I was grinning like an idiot. I really do love this game.
Quoted from kermit24:Everyone should be checking the linkage on your Kafoom mech. Mine was super loose. Tightened and much more powerful now.
Thanks Kermit! I will definitely check that out.
I also want to give the same kind of heads up for the auto plunger. Mine worked great initially and would hit the ramp 90% of the time. Then after a few months it started missing the ramp so I tried adjusting the power up and that worked for a bit and then it started missing again, so I adjusted the angle of the guide and that worked for a bit but started getting inconsistent after a while and I just lived with it.
Anyway, I had the playfield up to do some other stuff and figured I would go around and tighten all the screws holding mechs to the playfield and while most were fine or needed a small tweak, I would say about half the ones for the auto plunger were pretty loose. I tightened them back down and as a result had to go back and lower the auto plunge power to stock and move the guide back and I am now getting consistent 90%+ ramp shots made again.
Quoted from bwalter:Some will call it sacrilege but my go-to sound upgrade of choice is to get the headphone kit and plug in a good pair of studio over-ear headphones. I do it to all my Sterns and it’s a game-changer.
Agree 100% and I have done this to all the Sterns I have owned as well. It is really only viable when you are playing alone though.
Quoted from golfingdad1:Where do you guys generally get your plastic protectors, flipper toppers & rubber sets ?
I got the fluorescent green plastic protectors from Gameroom Mods here in the Pinside Marketplace. They look fantastic and glow pretty good with just the stock lighting.
