We noticed some funky behavior here last night when trying to stop/trap a ball with the left flipper. The flipper would "dip" when the ball hit it and with the glass off, you could easily confirm that when held up, the flipper itself could be pushed down even with the coil engaged. Turns out in my case, I had a bad coil stop. The insert looks like it was never really struck to mushroom over the end and firmly attach it to the bracket. Pics tell the story. I had a number of PBL coil stops handy so I just swapped it out and back in business. The coil stop on the right flipper is fine. I pulled and inspected it, but it's properly riveted and looks identical to the replacements I got from PBL so I reinstalled and will keep using the original on that side until it wears or loosens up.

Stern's Coil Stops have sucked for ages. It's one of the first things I change out along with the rubbers.
Really wish they would just fix this as it's extremely noticeable and makes a huge difference on location games.

Definitely grab a digital level. Jack reccomended between 7.0 and 7.2 on the pitch. With the bubble slightly above the top line. I followed that guideline (I’m at 7.1) and everything is shootable.

But I get the shot more then the Snikt on our Deadpool.

Thank you , yeah I had it on my radar but I’m in modders hell right now with all the cool upgrades to the particular pins we have .I went back at it last night and stuck with just tweaking the legs and I’m pretty close for sure .Not going to get crazy here but the sky is the limit with Foo Being that we’re at .94 , I can’t find anything to complain about minus my hefty bag rant haha .I turned the volume down low late last night and bounced back/forth between Foo and GZ. They are a perfect match together ,kinda like the good cop/ bad cop thing

For the Pro owners who have replaced the captive ball with a glow ball or even a shiny actual pinball... is there a trick to EASILY getting the old ball out so you can put the new one in? I thought the screw in the center of the plastic would loosen, and I could just lift it up enough to get it out, but that screw just spins and I don't see a way to get a wrench in to the base of the post to keep it from spinning. I would welcome any advice from anyone who has already done this... I feel like a moron for not being able to figure out an easy way (I can see what the hard way is )

I just lifted up the plastic enough to slip the old ball out using a magnet then dropped the glow one in.

Yes. Use a magnet, lift the plastic and pull it out. It’s really tight, but can be done. Then put the glow ball in.

I have the same sort of problems frequently. But I haven’t changed a thing or moved the game, so I think it’s just a bit random like the ball’s movement itself. I think a lot of it is how I’m playing and once I start bricking shots it’s like I get on a roll.

I tried various things but could not get the manual plunger to always hit the ramp at full power, but the autolaunch does, so I just gave up and decided that manual plunges are just going to involve some skill. My No Good Gofers just took a small adjustment and it hit the ramp every time manual or auto for years… but I think the ramp launch on Gz and Foo adds ball bounce and randomness that make it really hard to make it consistent. I think the ball even hits the wireform on exit sometimes.

It's not easy, but you can get it out without even removing that center screw. You just have to lift the plastic a bit, then hook the ball to remove with your index finger and lift it up over the stationary ball. Getting it started up is the hardest part (without bending the plastic too much and cracking it - always a concern). I've done it 4x now to take pictures of each and post (original, green, pink, eyeball, green) and it's easy for me now that I have the technique, but the first one, especially, was a trial.

Most of the song is pretty slow with just a few more rocking sections. It's 131 beats per minute, so only Best of You would be slower. Not sure the pace is conducive to pinball, but might be a nice post-game song when you're putting in a high score once it's entered.

If they get pinball browser working with the FF rom, you can replace one of the slower songs (Walk, Holding Poison, or Best of You) with Sky is a Neighborhood and not mess up the flow of the game since you'd be trading similar BPM songs.

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a machine. Leaning towards Pro. I have played one on location and loved it. Just wondering if I’m missing out on Premium features but for the extra $2500? Sounds like I will be doing the PinWoofer upgrade too.

The elusive 5 Million Secret Skill shot..

so my machine is dialed in...all shots awesome, flow everything...7.0 deg pitch at flippers, manual and autoplunger are almost 100% consistant hitting ramp

For the life of me I cannot hit the big secret skill shot « Spoiler! Click to reveal. (outlane on plunge) » ever except by extreme remote chance

No matter how I plunge the thing...anyone else have any insight? Thanks

I would say the Prem is definitely worth the money on this one. My kids also played both (we had a Pro first) and preferred the LE (same PF extras as Prem). Son said it felt like a different (even better) game.
