Yeah alley pass or Shatzing the lane is the intended way to hit them but its not easy. Basically wait until the very last second and shoot the ball up the other side into the target.

That was the exact video that I was going to post. However, he was using the Boom/UFO button to get the credit for the overlord shot after schatzing both targets. Don't think you can do that now if you want credit for the muiltiplers. You will have to hit the actual overlord. At least based on the release notes for a version after that video.
RAYGUN TARGETS
-Raygun inlane targets are now relit by their respective inlane (previously the right crossover)
-Raygun shot x will now not be ended by Rami shot, allowing you to make upper flipper shots that will get multiplied
-Raygun (inlane target) multipliers will no longer apply for scores awarded from UFO action button

Those are literally meant to be shot from the opposite flipper. Not luck.

Trapping and cradling the ball and letting it roll back.

Game plays pretty fast, so ski-jumping the ball across to the opposite target works pretty often.

Go back a few posts https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/foo-fighters-official-owners-club-rock-aliens/page/58#post-7572717 and see what I had recommended but basically any shooters that come like this from Stern I use some needle nose I get in there and adjust the auto plunger and space it out to let the ball sit lower in the cradle that way you're getting full contact with the plunger on a manual and you're getting a smooth rollout on the auto plunger.. if you stick stuff inside the plunger rubber itself you're taking away energy that is going to be transferred away from the ball so that's not a good solution... even if your auto plunger is working good that's something you really want to look at to make sure that both the manual and the auto function work as designed

I’m sure there has to be room for a uv led mounted under the upper playfield on a premium/le right? Wonder how that’d look w/ a GITD ball?

Short plunge over the Kafoom target... Then trap up. You haven't validated the playfield yet and can take your time and snipe the 3 bank to the perk of your choosing

Here's mine, yours does look blurry.. if the entire playfield is like that, probably worth pursuing the issue for a swap with distro

I appreciate it - that does look way better than mine. I get that its supposed to have that comic book look, but I think it could have the comic book look and be a printing issue. Distro is awesome and already offered a replacement upon seeing the pics. This is already my 2nd Foo LE.... fun!

Ugh, well, keep up the good attitude. That and your distro will eventually prevail, and you'll have an awesome machine. Sucks that you have to go through this. QC should be better... I went through a destroyed GZ a while back in shipping and it was stressful but turned out great in the end.

On ball save the shaker murders my auto launch. Might have to turn that down or turn up auto plunge to try and compensate.
I have not played any tier of Foo yet .This is the first time that has happened .All 3 tiers look incredible .Playfield , backglass/trans , and cabinets , it’s just one of the nicest looking pins I’ve seen and that’s only going by pictures .

You should like it. Crazy unique playfield. I'm honestly not playing mine much until software gets more fleshed out. So I've sorta been waiting too.
If you have Foo and don’t have PinWoofer, you’re getting about half the potential of the machine.
It’s unreal.
I also got the fluorescent plastic protectors and voodoo glass. Next level all around.

Maybe a silly question...I was looking at some fluorescent protectors for the ramps. Easy install? Looks like just unscrewing and screwing back on...any watchouts?
I’m so frustrated with this game the past few days. My scores just get worse and worse! I just played 10 games in 10 minutes, and I was trying. It would be hilarious how bad my games were, if it weren’t so SAD. My best score was the first day or two that I had it. It really sucks when you only get worse the more you practice!
