Quoted from fooflighter:

Try a small drop of super lube on your spinner and raise to 7.0 degrees
https://a.co/d/3KUJBWp

It’s not a spinner issue, it just if I didn’t have enough speed to go all the way around, and it comes back. But like I said, that’s just one example, I’m losing like 90% of my shots sdtm. Rarely is it an outside lane.

But that's just it, with the super lube, the ball will go through easier and with less resistance, and may have the energy to get through and around, also the higher grade pitch angle will generally give more return flow shot energy again helping with not stopping short in the spinner area

I just used that one shot as an example, it feels like it’s 5-6 shots do it. I guess it’s just my pin. None of my other 12 are like this. I’m sorry I brought it up. I’m glad nobody else’s is like this.

Lol are we starting to enter the early phase of deliveries with a bunch of posts about drains from half ramp shots and other missed shots before it settles down and people remember that all machines have at least one or two dangerous areas where drains are likely if you don't make the shot?

How did you level it, left to right? With an actual bubble level, or an app? The apps can be off. If you put a pinball on the seam between the lockdown bar and glass, right in front of the action button, does it stay put? Or does it drift right or left?

If the above checks out, stick a square tool or the edge of a long ruler on the playfield directly, left to right and see if it is flat. Stern has had issues in the recent past with concave or convex playfields. Best to rule that out, too.

I don't think the Pro is overly drainy down the middle.

I have a digital level that shows degrees down to 0.00 and I place it on the playfield, not on the glass

Similar to this, different brand, I can’t remember. It’s about 10inchs long and red lol

Setup on a new machine is usually a process, not a light switch. Small changes to pitch and flipper power can make a big difference in how the game plays for you.

Best thing to do is make sure it's level side to side both near the flippers and further up the playfield (so up near the spinner on Foo). Then play it for a few days to a week and make any changes to pitch and/or flipper power if you want. And keep repeating that until you find a combination of pitch & flipper power settings where you're happy with how it's playing.

Thanks. I’m trying not to sound rude, but this isn’t my first new pin. Never mind.

Yep, 16x24. Looks decent enough to me. Would love to have an original but it is what it is.

They also have this one

https://www.etsy.com/listing/1403702221/foo-fighters-2018-poster-home-decor

Simple frames are available for $25 at Target.

I think the two will look nice either side of my 2nd run Premium - I reckon I’ll get it in Aug or so.

I got this one off Redbubble 23.4 x 32.5

Good paper glossy finish, nice color saturation...not too pixelated...looks great from 2 or more feet away. I put in under non-glare acrylic and it looks perfect

Would love to have the original but they're not for sale ATM

That one looks good. I need an 18x24 exact, I've found a few (repros of course, not originals), but I haven't decided on which one I want.

Just got my 3D apron cards in the mail today. They look awesome in person and hard to get a good picture. SO much better than the stock cards.

For those of you that are anxious about when you will get yours, spare a thought for the overseas crowd. I'm hoping for June when mine lands but who knows.

Officially in the club!

Got it from Aaron at San Diego Amusements SDAmusements and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I could not recommend a distributor more.

Freight comes weekdays. It’s possibly to pay extra for Saturday but ask distributor. Probably not worth it. Maybe local hub is close so you can pickup.

It can depend on lift-gate availability too. My Foo Pro got to the local freight hub on a Wednesday evening but they didn't have a truck available with a lift gate until the following Tuesday due to other deliveries and schedules. Needless to say I drove the 30 minutes to the hub and picked it up the next morning.

Picked up my pro yesterday. Mirror blades are nice. Added a shaker right off the bat and put on some new rubbers on the flippers. Still getting used to some of the more difficult shots.

That ramp plastic that's been breaking on everyone sure looks thicker to me from what I can tell!

#1100 1 year ago
Quoted from Kolk1:

Off the top of my head, the spinner from the left side of the space ship. If it doesn’t do the full loop, it drains. Just seems like 90% of my drains are straight down the middle. Not outside lanes.
It’s level and set to a 6.5 angle. I guess I suck, but none of my other games go sdtm this often. Yes they all occasionally, but this is rough. Only reason I thought I’d add one. Maybe I’ll just set it to 10 ball with 30 second ball saves lol

Give the game a nudge when the ball is about to come back down passed the spinner. Try to make the ball hit the rail sides of the spinner lane and that should keep it from coming back sdtm.
