Finally got back to the FF Tour Van Mod that I started 6 weeks ago.... ok, so I got behind because I was playing the FF LE that showed up instead of working. Well here it is! Since the ramp is identical on all models this will easily fits PRO/PREM/LE editions with installation taking only a few minutes. I will also be adding several variations over the next few weeks.

Finally have a sample UFO installed, need to improve a few things still but getting closer.

The UFO can be set to bank left or right 45 up to degress from the horizontal position to your liking and locked with a grub screw.

Really nice work on these, they are coming together nicely and look great lit up! The adjustability is awesome, love the idea that end users can set them up however they like.

that was my aim to allow people to add variety, bank left or right and then I have 2 stands - 1 places the UFO going 10degrees up and the other 10 degrees down so can really mix it up.

Will do sometime over the weekend, will try and get them all installed.

I still need to do a decal for the tri-bot and rocket bot.

I designed these before getting the game and only had the game for a week and in doing so have discovered that the rocket bot is a little limited of where it can be mounted and need to get some replacement screws as can't get the large washers off the stern screws.

Also been busy on buildings for GB but will be getting on to Pro Area 51 building soon as well as a few other goodies. All solid nylon professional printed parts - no home printed parts

Apologies for the delay for the bot launch for those interested - just had to design all 3 bots for better mounts and lighting for the UFO.

Rocket Bot - now has a better mount as 1st one was very limiting and demed useless, this one will give more options.

Tri-Bot - huge design changes - different mounting position which will allow you to rotate and position the fixed leg set to you liking. It will come with 2 mounts, one being 10mm higher and offset another 5mm allowing you to mix up the mod mounting and also a second set of legs like the New York Flying Bots to swap out and turn to your liking. A mount for under the ramps will come later.

UFO - huge design changes here as well with now a brighter Comet Star Post led inside and grub screw mount anchoring from the top - underside was a pain.

I also plan to experiment with a UV reactive treatment added - not guaranteed but will experiment and if doable will be on them all.

Ordering final sampes soon and will have a price (individual and bundle) firmed up this week.

They will all be roughly this colour purple and the Rocket Bot and Tr0-Bot will have a decal on the face with the UFO being the only one to be lit up.

here are 2 more pictures, but changed the design to now install comet star post leds so will be brighter and will be trying out UV reactive paint treatment so stands out a little more.

Here is some of the LE features that were added to the PRO/PREM version of our Tour Van.

Everything in the Pro and Premium Editions plus:
-where is the band? interactive interior lighting with detailed silhouettes of the band members inside! See all 6 members through the front window just like in the video sequence as it slides around the corner to give you another shot! Drivers side windows even has Dave Grohl of course is at the wheel and the back window shows the interior speakers!
-Limited Edition tribute to Taylor Hawkins. Lighted interior includes Taylor’s trademark Hawk logo in the window! This just HAD to be included!
-Headlights to match the white and yellow in the video clips.
-NO detail is too small! Even the plugged in amp cables surrounding the van are included.
-PLUS, Custom made stickers added to the front hood and bumper to match the game Videos and artwork!

This is just so fun to see on the playfield, you won’t want to miss out on this!!

This weeks order ship today and I’m working on 20-25 a week depending on which version is being done.
Some bomb work late last night to prep for this week and a few front grills and vans to paint this morning! Never underestimate the need of a quality prime coat! The FF logos NEED a white prime coat so that the yellows POP!

It’s all in the details, quality is everything! Just love the paint runs to match the Pro PETG version of the van, Oh, and the small hole in the side of the van are for the speaker amp cable, so cool and fun to do these!

Here is my DMCS Save Post mod for Foo Fighters Pro. You earn save post time by hitting the UFO captured ball. There's a gauge beside the left outlane that shows your earned time. When the ball drains at the left outlane, you activate the save post with the left flipper button.

This also has the DMCS Spinning UFO mod at the captured ball: goes together nicely with the save post mod, but isn't required.

Thanks! It's definitely nice right by the UFO captured ball, but you could mount it elsewhere: it only takes a screw. It might fill in nicely inside the right ramp corner on the premium.

Pretty low effort mod here. I like to buy cheap(ish) fleece blankets to use as dust covers for the lower part of my games. Mainly because you can usually find printed blankets that match the theme of the game and it keeps the dust off the glass. They usually run $20-$40 and I use a set of magnetic binder clips to hold the blanket from the hinges.

On Etsy I found a FF t-shirt with a UFO on it I really liked. I reached out to the seller and asked if she could print it on a blanket. She said she could.

It surpassed my expectations and totally hit the “Band T-Shirt” look I was going for.

What’s the lead in those preorders? Not much dust protection in a preorder if I am being honest…
