Let's get this started! Stern just officially teased the new Foo Fighters pin for 2023. Are you in? Are you out?

    #2 1 year ago

    Looks good,
But I doubt anyone would sell anything to get this.
Probably do ok but not a blockbuster.

It's been 20 minutes and we already have 20 people saying they are "in for an LE."

Game will do as well or better than any other band theme lately. It's not hard to recognize that.

Foo are very big rock band, at a time when there's very few.

What looks good . The cartoon trailer with not-revealing anything . Looks super awesome , but before I plunge for an Le . No mention of a the pin version single level sle reveal wtf I got 100 grand for that one maybe only 100 sle and be super rarer

i took the easter eggs on the radio as AF FF FU as ASS Fk FACE Fk and FK YOU to us Stern Supporters as a big message to all the haters of the SLE Bond model and price . But others say it means FOO FIGHTERS and something else / Perception is everything .

Also why the Mystery type like van just as we are getting all hyped up on SCOOBY DOO . Coincidence

    OUT by the way

Price? Images of machibes? Number to be built? Hype video is a cartoon. WTF???

I’m sure it will sell out, doesn’t matter about anything that people will want to know. Might play like a wet turd.

Is the economy still supporting without risk to buy everything new pinball?

I can’t say yes or no without more info.

Who is the designer? Is this a new PF design or a conversion like other, like Primus or others? I can’t buy a duplicate machine with just different artwork.

I can't imagine this being a good theme idea. Do people really like this band that much? This makes no sense at all to me. Black Sabbath was obviously on the table. They passed on that? For this? The Nirvana off-brand? Rush was borderline and Borg made it work (not the pro tho) somehow, but can lightning strike twice? So skeptical about this one.

This is a very typical "I don't like/have never heard of Foos, therefore nobody else does/has either!" Pinside response.

The appeal on Foo Fighters is MILES beyond the appeal of Rush. Ask anybody who has tried to get rid of a Rush recently (including myself).

Foo will do much better. They have wide, international appeal.

Valid point, plus, like Aerosmith, the fanbase isn't almost exclusively sausage. Let's see how it plays. Still, initial license reaction less than thrilled. Then, there's the other matter.

Yea I can’t hardly play rush without a plastic clock going and that sick ass VUK firing. Mmmmm if I close my eyes I can smell the data east!

Joking aside Rush is a great game and I have no affinity for the band really. If foo is even close to as good as rush it will be great.

Foo Fighters is the only GOOD reason for Nirvana to have ever existed. Nirvana sucked. Foo Fighters is a timeless, creative and excellent rock band.

Black Sabbath has a few fans left, and they’re dying out.

This is the only music pin I, as an older “millennial,” have ever even considered purchasing. The rest are “classic” rock, aka “they haven’t made anything new in 50 years and you’re already sick of all of it.”

This game will certainly do well. Foo Fighters have mass appeal among multiple generations.

Personally, I was never a big fan, but I cannot deny their popularity and relevance. Very few bands can say they made it out of the 90s and maintained this level of success.

I'm looking forward to playing this latest offering from Stern. Happy for JD and the FF fans.

Over 32 million albums sold. So yea, there's some people out there who like them lol

Foo Fighters 3D flipper toppers are ready for order. Prem/LE 4-piece set is $30 and Pro 3-piece set is $25.

Might wanna go purple with pink neon on the mini upper.

Caveat: I'm not a mod guy and removed those from the only game I bought with them.
