Add me to the LE list please!
Quoted from animesuperj:Would be interested in one if it works for a pro.

Awesome! I have mine at home currently if you need any initial measurements for help as well.
Add me to list, Foo premium, thanks!
I wrote on another thread about being on list too, no duplicate spots necessary.
Do I need to buy a $10k machine so I can get this $300 mod? I have some real serious life choices to make here...

The trick is not thinking about it too much before pulling the trigger, and then covering your tracks sufficiently. Get those two sorted and you'll be sitting pretty.

You have it backwards. Buy the $300 mod, then you HAVE to buy the $10k machine. See. Very easy that way.
and just curious with the waffer and windows plastic color, you were saying you would be using dark purple..but in this pic it's actually hot pink..thoughts? Would be neat to have a few options on the waffer color, tbh..either way, looks rad as hell.

Ah no, that's what I'm referring to as the 'neon'. It'll be resin, back-lit by RGB leds, so will by default be pink (like the original) but could be whatever colour you want. The idea is that it will be able to track the ball when doing loops.
The 'wafer acrylic' is the bottom section, what looks like the horizontal lines on the original. The wafered acrylic will replicate those lines and give it some edge glow using ambient light.
Should be more obvious when the proto is ready!
