Guys, I feel like an idiot. I can't remember how to fold the backbox down. The two bolts are out and the thing will not budge. What am I missing? Thanks!

There are two sets of bolt holes - one on the back and one inside. Check both.

Don't think that's right. There are only two bolts supplied with the game and they go on the outside. I'd just give it a little push, humidity may have caused it to stick.

Black Knight was right. Thanks, you're a lifesaver! There are two on the bottom of the inside of the backbox that I didn't see.

I've never seen this on a modern stern before and I've had a lot of them.

They started them with the metal speaker SAMs ( I think) and carried it forward with Spike.

Its a security feature so you need to get in the machine to fold it.

No hardware to secure from the inside came with my sw,.gotg, met, acdc vault or IMdn. I'm going to have to look at this when I get home.

Yeah, neither of my spikes have had any inside the backbox.

I thought the whole point was that you didn't need to open it up anymore

None of the following games i own or owned have/had hardware to secure from inside: iron Man vault, met led, TWD prem, gotg pro, acdc prem vault, iron maiden pro, GB le, SW pro. That covers most of the metal backbox games.

It's also not in the setup instructions.

You get two backbox bolts. You can put them on the outside or on the inside, your choice. If you put it on route, put them inside. At home, put them outside.

Ah, that makes sense..so the OP must have put two sets of bolts in.

I never noticed that. Learn something new every day.

I'm glad my foolishness has been an educational experience! I honestly cannot tell you why I used the interior holes, to the point that I forgot they were there!
