I’ve had quite a few requests for some of the build details for the basement project we did. So here are some video walkthroughs of the basement. A before video and I’ll throw some build pics in here as well. Pinsiders are always welcome. Bring a quarter to get in though .

I do want to thank JJ of Game Exchange of CO. He has been a huge resource, friend, and just offers the best customer service of anyone in this industry. If you need a great place to get anything for your basement. He is the man to see.

Also like to thank Mustang Paul for making very cool LED leg lights, and Scott at Pinstadium lights. Both got many comments during our house warming party last Saturday.

Very impressive indeed!!! The vids are great (especially the before one). Having seen this place in person you just can't grasp the entire awesomeness from a vid. You've done an excellent job!

That's an awesome game room. Well done.

    These pictures are amazing.
    How big is the basement?
Do you feed those animals? Are they just not afraid of people?

I think the basement is around 3000 sq feet maybe a bit more.

Evergreen is known for Elk. They pretty much have free reign. We also have a local cougar (not that kind ), mama bear and cubs and a cool black fox.

Are you opposed to adopting any 35yr old guys willing to relocate? I'm a B+ laundry folder and make a mean spaghetti and butter!

Wow! I love it. Love the Tron arcade door just like the Legacy scene... but hey, wait a sec, I just wanted to play tron and the door opened!

When the secret door is open is it 180 against the wall or sticking out into the room? And can you have it leave the door open on purpose? It's all very cool looking atmosphere wise, but I can't imagine you'd want people waiting for the door EVERY time they went in or out.

That looks awesome, but what I would really like to know is how many people contributed to your “go fund me” to help you pay for it?

The door opens about 165 degrees. It can be programmed to hold full open and not close.

    This cave base is awesome.
Money is important but when it serves to great decorative, laying out, lighting ideas, the result is breathtaking
I love the space, I love the materials and the mix with stone, facing bricks, wood, carpet coz used with fondness, I love this arcade door, I love this private movie theater with the starry sky...and I love these animals too!

You people with basements have it so good, I hope you realize that. In California, typically if it was built after 1940, it ain't got no basement.

Congrats on the great game room, though. It's easy to tell it took a lot of planning and consideration. It was very well executed and came out amazing.

wait - is that really true? Houses in California don't generally have basements? Even in the suburbs?

I'm afraid so. Very high housing costs and no basements.

I’ve had quite a few requests for some of the build details for the basement project we did. So here are some video walkthroughs of the basement. A before video and I’ll throw some build pics in here as well. Pinsiders are always welcome. Bring a quarter to get in though .
