I would say that flippers are like used car salesman. They will do or say anything to get a deal done.I have had several of the Socal flippers at my house at one time or another and i wish i knew then what i know now.Every deal went their way.I ended up with pins that had multiple errors and other problems.I have only been into pinball for a couple years now,and i have sold/traded more pins than i own.I have a nice collection, but i think it would be even better if the flippers went away.

Somebody should post a list of all the flippers.Maybe we could spread the word on who to avoid. It would be hard for them to buy up all the good deals when their garage is full and their bank account is empty.

These guys are doing more than snagging deals. They are flagging the ads so we don't even know about the ads. They are very good salesmen, talking to the pinball owners and finding out who is calling about the machines, then talking smack about the other potential buyers. They misrepresent the pinball community in order to make themselves look like "good guys".They confuse the sellers and tell them about "problems" with the pins to get the price lowered and get the deal done quickly.People will want to get rid of a pin that has "cracked ramps and a warped playfield".The flippers are not just beating us to the deals,They are beating the owners out of their pins.
