If I had let my the ball bounce up into the slingshot like this player did at 1:30-1:31 of the video on my Stern LotR it never would have just landed nicely back on my flipper. Instead it would have reacted even to that slight touch and air balled straight into the right outlane. Either that or it would have bounced back and forth between the slingshots five or six times getting faster and faster until it air balled into either the left or right outlane.

I have very mixed feelings about Stern's strong slingshots that are so hyped.
