Hello,

I just a flipper rebuild to my cueball wizard. Well just finished the right flipper, haven't gotten to the left yet.

Everything is back together. Is it normal for the coil to have some movement to the sides? I'm thinking that now with new parts the coil is a little looser?

The coil moves very little but it does have some play side to side. I just want to know before I test it. Don't want to make a mistake. Thanks!

If by side to side you mean toward the stop and toward the plunger, there is a wavy washer that has to be on the plunger end between the coil and the bracket.

Movement should be limited. JoeGruenck already covered.... Too much movement up and down, will cause the flipper to be less powerful. In my SS machines they don't move up or down at all (they can turn only slightly on their x axis).

No, the movement is only if I twist the coil. Not towards the coil stop or vicevaersa. Movement is only if I twist thw coil

Thanks! You are right about that wavy washer! The machine didn't have it but will put in on tomorrow and let you know. Thanks!
