Whirlwind
Williams, 1990I am totally new to buying pinball machines. I have an issue with my whirlwind. The top flipper is not working at all (the 2 lower ones work). What could cause this. Is this most likely a board issue or something more minor. It is not working at all......hopefully, this is nothing too complicated as I know these machines are very complicated.
Thanks in advance....again, it is not working at all so I don't even know where to start.
Check the leaf switches behind the flipper buttons.
On the right side there's a 2-stack (1 for the bottom flipper, 1 for the top right).
Make sure when you push the button, that both switches are able to touch together.

Thanks......any other ideas if that doesn't work ??? Is this most likely a "simple fix" or can this be a much bigger issue....never had a flipper not working at all.

It seems likely that it will be a simple fix. I think some minor soldering is about the most difficult thing that might be required.
Did they use solid state flipper boards on any of the System 11?
