Flash flipper makes strange noises when holding flipper up and ball hits it. Is this end of stroke switch problem?

Usually not. EOS issues are usually having weak flippers.
If it's chattering or humming check your coil stops. Does flash have the coil stop separate like Gorgar or part of the bracket like black knight? If its separate and it looks ok loosen the screws and move it a little while holding the flipper.
I'd make your eos closer if there's room to spare
