About at the end of my rope. Flipper is too loose, bat keeps slowly moving up. Can't tighten the bat down anymore, the pawl nut is stripped. Have an extra pawl but again, pawl is stripped, so I can't loosen it either. I've tried using a driver, pliers, robogrip pliers, anti-seize spray.. it's not budging in either direction. So... any advice?

Cut it off, rebuild it completely including a new flipper bat.

I suppose I knew that was the next step.. was looking for something less intrusive.

Anyone have thoughts on cutting (tool? Location?)? It looks like a new bat and I'd like to save it if I can so I don't have to wait on parts again. I have a full rebuild kit and bushing for this era so I'm not worried about anything else.

Obviously my hacksaw ain't gonna fit in there.

10" mini hacksaw for the win. Bat untouched.

Dremel with a metal cutting disk.
