I rebuilt the flippers on my Stern Spiderman and now the right flipper flips as soon as you turn the machine on.

When i changed the coil at first i blew the fuse a couple of time as i had stupidly put in a coil with a diode.
Spiderman is a no diode coil. Could this have damaged something else in the game??

What would make a flipper energise constantly?

Thanks in advance people.

Shorted transistor

...also just to clarify, the upper right flipper is fine also.

Q14 is the transistor for the upper right flipper

Your problem is likely the Q16 transistor (right lower flipper)

It's probably a transistor, but also check the simple things. Look to make sure the flipper button isn't stuck in or the flipper switches bent and touching.

EDIT: Nevermind. I didn't see this was as soon as the game was turned on. Yep probably a transistor.
