So, I'm almost ready with the install, up to the last item. Connecting the wires to the subwoofer.
The problem now is that I have TWO wires and there are THREE terminals on the sub.
NEG, LOW and HIGH. It would be obvious that one wire goes on the NEG and the other on LOW or HIGH.
But which one?? There is nothing in the manual on this. Strange.

Which terminal have you guys used?

Thanks.

High is for more bass..... low is for less bass. I have installed using the high, but if you feel its too much bass use the low.

Dug nailed it! I personally start on high and adjust the knob, if not good enough move it to low. On my sterns I have been using high, my Cftbl I used low.

There is only a 3db difference between the 2, if I remember correctly. I have some install videos out there which cover the topic. Think they are on the ff site now

Apekop, what title are you installing the FF in?

It's in the Roadshow now. I'm not too crazy about the CFTBL and it won't be a keeper.

The sound started out a bit disappointing but after I played it for a while it really cleared up.
I really like it now. I put the wire on High and it sounds good. I can feel the bass in my hands when I play.

The new speakers must be bringing good luck because an hour after I put them in I blew my old record out of the water!

And thanks for the help everyone!

It was a bit too early in the States to call for help and I couldn't wait to try them out.
