Quick one this, hopefully...
Have bought a couple of Flipper Fidelity speaker upgrade kits, have only just arrived today so not had a chance to even open the boxes. Rather naively I thought they would be 100% plug and play, but looking at the instructions online it looks as if I have to cut the wires from the factory sub and crimp connectors onto them?
This is going to sound ridiculous - but how easy is that? I'm pretty sure I don't have a crimping tool. Would I be better off soldering the wires back onto the FF sub bearing in mind I can't think of a reason I'd ever take it out again.
Any gotchas I should be aware of when trying to crimp connectors onto the existing wiring? It looks very thin..
Sorry for such a mundane question.
