I recently bought a BKSOR Premium and after a short while I noticed the flippers were having problems getting the ball up the ramp. I did a little research and it seems to be a common problem. I made some adjustments but still after a few games the flippers seem to fade.
Recently I saw an ad for Flipper Coil Cooling Fans, stating that the flipper fade is common in most new Sterns. However, installing these flipper coil fans would eliminate that issue.
Is this really an issue? Has anybody tried installing these cooling fans? Do they really improve play?

How hot do the coils need to be to loose power. I just played a couple games then opened it up and felt the coils. They were warm but I wouldn't consider them hot. Is that enough to make the flippers start getting weak?

This is probably a stupid question, but I've got a couple USB powered cooling fans. Is there any way to power them through the system on BKSOR?

Quoted from YeOldPinPlayer:

There is always a way. The simplest way would be plug in your USB adapter to the service outlet.

Where is the service outlet? I can't seem to find it

I bought a pair of USB fans and set them on the coin box just to test this out. Not a lot of air flow but it does make a difference for about $14.00
