Ok gang, when we drop a coin into the slot the machine counts up 6 balls most of the time. Occasionally it will do 5 like it should but most times its 6.

Any suggestions? Not having studied the diagram in detail but I would imagine we get 5 pulses off of the A level of the score motor to advance the ball count unit...but an extra?

Game is just coming back to life after a repaint and siting idle for 10+ years.. One of the last issues.

Ken. It is the stepper unit in the back box. I had the same problem. One of the rivets don't make good contact. Try rotating it if there is a slot worn in it for better contact. Since it does not make good contact it goes to ball 6.

Ps. I could use mine repainted as well.

Dennis, that did the trick, cleaned the shoes on the ball count unit and now doing 5. Looking at the D relay I see no feedback from position 5 of the ball unit?

Im in the Dallas area if you want a paint job.

Somebody had sanded down the cab and stained it, ouch. I had no art to work from, generated stencils from pinball owners pics.

Wow, you did a great job on the cabinet! Looks great! That coin door looks cleaner than the mirror in my bathroom!
