Hi, the blue flipper button fell out on my Star Trek Pro machine. I am trying to understand how to fix the problem. It appears that there is glue on the piece that fell out, can I simply super glue the flipper back into position? If not, should I buy another button/housing, etc.?

Thanks ahead of time for your help!

If the entire threaded button fell out, it's simply a matter of locating the nut inside the game and reinstalling it - presumably tightening it a little better.

If the center of the button fell out, the shaft may be broken, or the e-clip may have fallen off. The breaking is generally more likely, and would require purchasing a new button to replace the broken one (or getting a new one from Stern under Warranty?)

Hmm, this is the part that fell out, I don't think the shaft has threads. This is what the part that fell out looks like... Is it an E-ring on the end of the shaft that holds the button into place?

Snaps in place more likely. You need a new button assembly.

LTG, thank you very much. Will the buttons on the link you provided me fit my Star Trek Pro?

Thanks,

That 1 1/8" amount does seem right
