Hi Pinheads!

I had a an idea to help the poor and hungry by hosting tournaments that drew in pinball players with the idea of donating all tournament entry fees to a local food bank. Others believed in the idea, and quickly joined forces with me.

Now we are in December 2013, and 14 cities have hosted Flip Off Hunger events. T

We raised $9,572 as of 12/16/2013. Based on a $1 donation creating 3 meals, Flip Off Hunger has donated over 28,716 meals!!

I am hoping that we can push past $8,000. If you are interested in adding to the total, simply donate to a local food bank and send me a copy of the receipt. I will add your donation to the Flip Off Hunger fund.

We smashed our goal of $8,000. Next year, our goal will be $11,000!!

Next year, I hope to organize even more cities. This was a smashing success and it was a great feeling helping families in need. I want to personally thank every host that stepped up and organized a local event. I also want to thank Josh Sharpe and the IFPA for recognizing the value of Flip Off Hunger and granting each city a full value IFPA Event. And a special shout out to Jared Guynes (Bakushan) for taking his time to create the Flip Off Hunger Logo. Without the support of the pinball community, this would have been a single event that raised a few hundred dollars for the hungry. Together, we raised thousands!

Absolutely amazed by Seattle's Flip Off Hunger results!

Wow is simply not sufficient.

With the Seattle donations, Flip Off Hunger has raised $8,952. With Cleveland, I am sure we will raise more than $9,000. That will generate over 27,000 meals to hungry families this holiday.

All of the Flip Off Hunger cities are an amazing collection of pinheads that represented themselves as well as pinball very well!

Thank you for an awesome conclusion to our battle against hunger!!
