You will probably need to rebuild part of the MPU. http://www.greatplainselectronics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=BALLY35-BA-KIT

Get an extra 5101 and socket.

Here is a list of stuff I wish I’d bought when first starting in the hobby. I own all this stuff now, but struggled with lower cost alternatives until I threw them away.

To do the MPU board:
Hakko 808 De-soldering Gun:

Here is a thread on the accessories you should also get:

Soldering Station:

A good 3x lighted magnifying lamp:

Professional Grade "B" Type Crimper For 0.156" contacts (yes I spent the $100 after getting tendinitis in my elbow):
http://www.greatplainselectronics.com/search.asp?pg=1&stext=3136-CT&sprice=&stype=exact&scat=

I usually rebuild the rectifier board and replace the .156 connectors because they get burned up,

.156 (Trifurcon) & .100 connectors

Quoted from oldschoolbob:

know I have to do a lot of work to make this a reliable game (new connectors, board modifications, etc.) but I wanted to just get one game out of it first.

On Flipperwinkel he suggest getting the corrosion repair kit but the link doesn’t work anymore. Anyone know where can I purchase this kit

First link above.
