I've got a Flash (system 3) that won't boot. 2 lights on the MPU stay on solid. I thought I had a power problem but after replacing the power board its still the same.

Looking at the boards, the MPU board looks to have been modded/repaired at some point as it has tape on the PROM's, what looks like jumpers in several places and an upgraded connector. FlashMPU_3906 (resized).jpgFlashMPU_3906 (resized).jpg

The driver board shows a burned looking area but I don't know if that would prevent it from booting up.FlashMPU_3905 (resized).jpgFlashMPU_3905 (resized).jpg

I don't have a lot of board experience so I am uncertain where to go from here, reseat the chips and hope for the best?

Step 1 is always to replace every old chip socket.
