Hey all,

I joined the Flash club this past weekend. Picked up a project that I'll be bringing back to life in my spare time. It's gonna be a lot of work but after reading through this thread I think it will be worth it when done. Will periodically post updates as I make progress.

Quoted from Ming:

As far as I can tell everything is correct. Could someone please tell what it is I did wrong and/or post some pictures or a drawing of correctly wired flippers?

I think the best place to find pics and descriptions is in Vid's flipper rebuild thread. https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/vids-guide-to-upgradingrebuilding-flippers

So the loose glass on my score display in my Flash (and another one on my Firepower) inspired me to create a bracket that helps hold the display glass against the PCB. I posted a thread about it here which has a link to a video showing how it works: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/new-product-for-williams-system-3-6-pinball-machines-from-k

Thanks for checking it out!

Quoted from clodpole:

Months ago, I cleaned up the score unit mounting boards, installed new double-sided sticky foam and "fixed" my problem of floppy score units (pic #1 is before). They had chafed the paint off the back of my backglass as they lay against it from behind for who-knows how many years and plays.

Your home made bracket should work. If you prefer, some years ago I designed a Williams Display Glass holder - it's available here: https://www.shapeways.com/product/M472WWJ2F/wiliams-display-bracket-for-system-3-7-pinball?optionId=64303053&li=shops
