i cleaned the flash pinball up added LED lights, upgraded the flippers with VIDs diy guide, threw in a rottendog mpu/driver board after getting frustrated with the original boards, upgraded to rottendog score displays, resoldered some stray wires and replaced some power supply caps. Def put some work into it.. so here are the after pics..
Quoted from ricklavin1962:Nice!! must be good to play it again!!!
It's been great to play again!! it still needs some work here and there but it's been a pleasure resurrecting!
Yea I've been keeping my eyes open to give my flash a new friend too. I really want a Williams grand lizard, haven't seen any for sale in Florida.
Quoted from Pizzaman13:Anyone? I’m at a loss here. Any help appreciated.
Not sure if this issue is still occurring for you but the issue is you need to replace the 15,000 uf capacitor on the power supply board. You can replace it with a 18,000 uf 25v capacitor from pinball wizard dot com.
