Hello,

I would like to buy another early SS pinball.
I have the chance to buy a very nice Solar Fire (very hard to find in Europe).
I have never played the real game, only on pc. I like it but a lot of multiball...

I also have the chance to buy next month a nice Flash Gordon. I also like this game. Maybe a bit difficult and a lot of drains, but a very good ruleset.

So I can't choose witch game I should buy...

Any tips ??

I have a Flash Gordon but have never seen a Solar Fire (very rare in Australia too) Had a look at the game play on youtube before, looks pretty fun. For me though, I would prefer Flash Gordon (even without ever playing a Solar Fire) essentially due to having speech. Speech on FG is great & key part of the game, also features like the two way saucer, strobe light & single drop target are interesting & nice features too.

FG is a keeper game for me, I tend to agree with what Grizlyrig said about SF getting old, it kind of feels like it would to me too for some reason (which I can't define).

Not even a close contest. If you can master Flash Gordon, you are an exceptional pinball player. Great game.

FG is a great game no doubt but I'm going to say SF instead.

With SF you get
2ball or 3 ball MB
3 magnets
Lots of hurry ups
Plus it's not too tough to find a FG while SF is a harder to find.

I think you'll be happy either way. Get the one that is in best condition?
