So I've pulled my 'non-working' strobe board from it's metal holder to observe more closely its behavior. During the lamp test it flickers almost unnoticably, but it's obvious it is getting some switching signal. 115V is getting to the strobe board so that is good. I thought on some repair thread I read something similar but can't find it. Is this a sign the bulb is burnt but getting triggered or perhaps something else (SCR isn't passing full voltage, etc.) If it were the SCR, how to test this part that I can't seem to find a good replacement for?
