Have a look here:

If you still can't work it out, come back with the model of EPROM chips that MinistryOfPinball supplied (2532 or 2732) and the French ROM model you currently have (2532 or 2732).

The L and K jumpers refer to the type of CPU and system memory used on the board. They don't refer to the ROM type, so don't touch those jumpers.

If you can post a clear picture of your S&T board, we may be able to work out how it's currently jumpered.

The EPROM model numbers are etched on the chips - they're probably hiding under stickers. See below:

Thanks, that clears things up.
Ok, so for ROM U2, you need to cut/remove the wire links across "D" and "G" and then install a wire link across "F" and another wire link across "P"
For ROM U5, you need to cut/remove the wire links across "Y" and "AA", and then install wire link across "Z" and another wire link across "BB"

See picture below (sorry it's low resolution but your original large picture is coming through corrupted).

Quoted from Joydivision:

My Flash Gordon was imported to Australia from Zimbabwe. The speech & sound roms were original factory roms, the speech rom was the French version

Did you end up putting the English speech ROMs on it?
