Quoted from MTPPC:Bought one at auction last night: $170.
I got a chance to check mine out. It wasn't booting (low voltage at the MPU), but I reseated the solenoid driver board J3 connector and it's up and running. It has a broken shooter lane switch and one of the pops isn't working, but I'm sure I'll grind through those in a day or two.
Off to buy a rubber kit and some other bits and pieces. woot!
Quoted from jespo_19:i know this is the "club" but anyone selling one?
I have a couple questions on lighting. My lights behind the "Flash Gordon" on the back box barely flicker. And I can't see the lights ever light up behind ming by the left ramp. Is that GI under there or are those feature lights that aren't working?
What's the correct terms for each of those sets of lights so I can find them on the schematic?
Quoted from ChadNC:If anyone has one of theese that they are willing to sell let me know!

Ming Face Lights and Flash Gordon Lights in the backbox.
They're fixed now. THe problem was oxidized connector on the auxiliary lamp board.
I just installed a black rubber kit and it looks good. I also bagged a score of 1,860,000+. My next project is replacing C23 on the Solenoid board because I get a random reset after a couple of hours. This game really grows on you fast.
I found out my random resets weren't due to C23. I reflowed all the connectors on the solenoid board and did the ground mod shown here: http://www.actionpinball.com/tech/bly_mods.htm .
Now the game seems rock solid. High score 1.86 million... so far.
My game has passed the test of robustness. I have put about 150 plays on it since I last posted. I'm putting it on CL for $1400 and planning on taking quite a bit less. It is a great game and I understand how people who know the game love it. I love it as well, but I do not have room to keep specific pins.
I must say that I have been very lucky in the selection of games I have had over the last year. Seawitch, Taxi and Flash Gordon. They have all been fantastically designed games. My price is really high, so I won't be posting a FS ad on pinside because this isn't the market I sell into. My game is working great and the only problem with it is the playfield wear:
IMAG0794.jpg IMAG0797.jpgFactory defualt is replay at 600k. No extra balls for points. Only for the stand-up behind the drop-downs.
Quoted from TheShameGovernor:.. I see you have a Galaxy. How do you like it? I enjoyed getting mine up and running, but after that, I was able to roll the score almost every other game so I let it go.
I love it. I stripped it and built a simulator out of it. http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=23285
