Started this problem in the FG thread, but thought I’d open it up to everyone since it might get lost there.

I replaced coil sleeves on the bottom flippers, and after doing so the rhs flipper/s causes f4 to blow. Sometimes on first flip, sometimes after 4-5 flips.

Have swapped a new/known good coil in and swapped a new/known good power supply board in and still happening. Can’t see any obvious shorts, but there must be.

Where should I be looking??? If it’s only the right flipper causing it do I just follow the high voltage wires to/from there? Will it only be something on that circuit (not sure if that’s the right word)? So only the rhs lower and upper flipper causing it?

Quoted from Vitty:Actually ran into this issue where a game had a fast blow fuse instead of a slow blo fuse and it would work for a few flips then pow. Easy to check anyways as a first step

Definitely slow blows.

Solved in the Flash Gordon thread. Dodgy upper rhs flipper coil. Thanks for your help all.
