Last night my left flipper on gotg pro became weak and would sometimes only go halfway up... any advice on where to start to troubleshoot?
Is this common? Bought the game NIB 6 months ago.

check your EOS switch, pretty common they fail fast on the newer sterns. could be mechanical if not.

Grab the flipper bat and see if it is tight against the bushing. There should be a tiny amount of clearance that you can wiggle up and down. If it doesn't move, chances are it is binding up. If that is the case, loosen the pawl, move the flipper up 1/32" or so, and tighten it back up. Seen this happen on many machines and it's an easy thing to check first.

What were you able to figure out while troubleshooting your flipper? Was it the EOS or something else. I'm having issues with my right flipper and I checked the EOS and flipper bushing (both seem fine) yet the right flipper is sluggish to return to starting position. I shouldn't have to replace coil sleeves on a game that's less than 200 plays, but I guess that's next to check. Was just curious after reading your post on what the outcome of your situation was?

I’ve had to do full rebuilds with stern flippers in less than 500 plays. Check every part.

So I took the entire flipper assembly apart and inspected it. Nothing wrong, so put it back together and now it's working fine. Must have been binding on something that wasn't too obvious.
